19 Apr Boppy Comfyfit Baby Carrier
Ever since I found out I was pregnant with baby number two, I’ve been on the hunt for some sort of baby wrap or sling that I could easily carry around my newborn in while still meeting the demands of my 15-month-old. I had been doing some research for a while and I discovered that a lot of wraps and slings were just okay, they weren’t thick baby carriers which is what I didn’t want because I already own one, but they also didn’t seem to provide a lot of support nor were they simple to take on and off.
I came across the Boppy ComfyFit Baby Carrier while watching a mom blogger on Insta stories. I was really intrigued by it because it looked like a regular baby carrier, but it was a lot more flexible, soft and easy to put on.
In June I will officially be a mom of #2under2, that thought is both exciting and slightly terrifying. I know it will be demanding and an adjustment at the beginning for sure, but I’m grateful that my son will have a sibling to grow up with. Having a newborn in the house is going to make running after my toddler and taking care of the house a lot more challenging, so why not use any and every tool to my advantage!
The Boppy ComfyFit Baby Carrier has all the components that I was looking for. It is a nice balance between a carrier and a wrap; it looks more like a baby carrier, but it feels more like a wrap. The material feels like your favorite pair of workout leggings, thick enough to provide support yet light enough that you’re not sweating buckets while carrying your baby. I love how simple it is to put on and to put the baby in. Some carriers are quite challenging to put on alone, but I had no problem this time around. A newborn and a toddler have one thing in common, they don’t really like waiting…so the fact that I can get out of the house quickly and without a fuss is a HUGE pro. A couple of other things that really make this product a winner is how compact it is and how I can easily throw it into my diaper bag or stroller. The neutral grey color is stylish enough for me, and my husband doesn’t feel uncomfortable wearing it! If baby spits up or makes a mess you can easily machine wash the carrier and your back in business. I was surprised by how evenly the weight of your child is distributed on your body, thanks to the wide shoulder straps and padded waist belt.
This is honestly a great tool especially for mommas with multiple young children. I feel a bit more confident now going into the #2under2 phase. I’ll let you know if I survive😉 My baby will be born at the beginning of June, so I’m excited to take him or her on walks and spend a lot of time with the family outdoors. Check out the Boppy ComfyFit baby carrier if you are looking for a versatile, comfortable and easy way to carry your babies!
